Analysis
The application is for an aviary nursery and distribution operation for up to a maximum of 7.700 birds. The
birds will be mainly game birds, such as pheasants and quail. The birds will be delivered by the applicant,
not picked up by the customer. There will be no slaughtering at the site.
Setbacks
Development Title Section 9-1045.3 requires animals to be kept or maintained a minimum one-hundred(100)
feet from any property line for the 'small animal raising' use type. Because the existing aviary building to the
west is located directly on the property line, it may not be used for this project. All animals shall be
maintained in the eastern building, which complies with the aforementioned Title Section.
San Joaquin County UP-98-20\Biancaflor
Community Development Page 3
