24 . Describe methods , sequence, and timing for bringing
reclamation of the land to its end state . Indicate on the
-" site plan , or on diagrams as necessary .
The soil salvaged from the project area will be placed in
conformance with the conditions of the Conditional Use Permit
governing the subsequent use . In the absence of such a permit ,
the soil will be spread in relatively uniform depths on areas
adjacent to the pond that will remain after mining .
The sand washing screen plant will be removed and the site
reclaimed upon completion of excavation operations . Reclamation
will involve the continued construction of the golf course and
recreational facility including smoothing the topsoil layer ,
adding topsoil as necessary from the stockpile, and grading in
preparation for the planned subsequent use .
The final topography will be contoured mounds and hillocks that
conform to the construction of the subsequent use facility .
Figure 6 show cross sections of the proposed quarry and pond
that will be as shown in these cross sections . The operator
will ensure that the excavation side slopes will be no steeper
than 2 : 1 horizontal to vertical .
25 . If applicant plans short-term phasing of reclamation ,
describe in detail specific reclamation to be accomplished
during first phase :
Reclamation will be accomplished in at the cessation of mining
of the 32 acre pond site . In the event the sand stockpiles
remain at the end of the mining operation , the sand stockpile
sites will be reclaimed as a part of the continued construction
of the golf course after the stockpiles are depleted .
26 . Describe how reclamation of site in this manner may
affect future mining at the site and in the surrounding area :
Landmark Lathrop Group, LLC
- - 8 - February 3, 2000
