A qualified envirorunental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination <br /> report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past <br /> or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous <br /> materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as <br /> fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. If the report indicates there is <br /> contamination, corrective action shall be taken, as recommended in the report and concurred <br /> with by Environmental Health prior to recordation of parcel map (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-905.12(a)(c)). <br /> NOTE: This report shall be submitted prior to minor subdivision application. <br /> B. Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating the number of cows and the reduced land available for animal waste. Also <br /> indicate that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to <br /> recordation of Parcel Map (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A <br /> nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health Department (effective August 1, 2003, the review fee will <br /> be $465.00). <br /> Pagel of 2 <br /> mail.-o3 <br />
