Mr. Borges reviewed Environmental Health Division requirements. Mr. Seibel discussed
the detention pond/terminal drainage system with staff and asked if the County was
planning on getting involved with the drainage from Peltier Road. Mr. Seibel said that if
he puts in detention ponds that the ponds need to drain and the only place they should
drain is to Gill Creek, but he does not want to impact Gill Creek. Mr. Neely told the
applicant that he would reissue a revision stating that the drainage will be retained on site
per parcel.
Mr. Seibel asked if we could treat the plan like any other parcel map, each parcel has its
own retention pond and not get into creating a service area. Mr. Seibel asked if they
could have privately owned individual detention ponds. Mr. Neely indicated that they
could.
Mr. Seibel asked if the street lighting on the intersection of the proposed private road
could be eliminated. Mr. Neely told Mr. Seibel that he would need to contact Mr. Gabriel
Karam regarding the street lighting.
Mr. Seibel asked if Item 11 (traffic signs and makings) could be dropped. Mr. Neely said
he thought it could but would get back to Mr. Seibel regarding the issue.
Mr. Seibel asked if Item 2 (improvements ) could also be dropped. Mr. Neely said that
he would check and would give the applicants revised conditions.
Mr. Martin informed the applicants that this item would be scheduled for the Planning
Commission meeting on April 5, 2001, with the recommendations for approval.
6.
