Based on a telephone <br /> conversation with OMR staff, this is an existing grading operation that is now <br /> considered a mine operation. As such, you will be forwarding a reclamation plan for the <br /> mining project to OMR for review. OMR will provide comment with in 30 days of receipt <br /> of the reclamation plan. <br /> SMARA Section 2207 requires that the person in charge of any mining operation <br /> file an initial report and subsequent annual reports with the State and lead agency and <br /> pay reporting fees. The applicant should be advised that regulations adopted by the <br /> State Mining and Geology Board require that the initial report and fee be sent to the <br /> State within 30 days of approval of a Mining Permit.
