The following comments are offered
for your consideration.
The proposal would establish a 102-unit farm worker labor camp with store,
laundromat, multi-purpose recreation building, outdoor recreation and bus parking at the
northeast corner of Lower Sacramento Road and Peltier Road, north of Acampo. The
project site is located within one and one-half miles southwest of the Lodi (Lind's) Airport.
It is within the Airport Area of Influence, the Conical Zone and possibly within a portion of
the Horizontal Zone as depicted in the Amended 1993 Airport Land Use Plan (ALUP).
According to the ALUP, few restrictions are necessary beneath the Horizontal and
Conical Surfaces, however, residential uses within an airport's area of influence must have
an avigation easement recorded in favor of the airport.
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on this proposal. If you have
any questions regarding our comments, please call me at 916/324-1833.
Sincerely,
SANDY—HESNARD
Environmental Planner
cc: Lodi Airport
San Joaquin County ALUC
