f
Soil Suitability&Nitrate Loading Study Page 12
Proposed M2 Winery,2900 Peltier Rd,Acampo CA i
Project No, 670.1A
May 28,2013 R
p a
8.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
8.1 Conclusions
1. A percolation test performed by Live Oak Geo Environmental, Inc. at the site of the
new septic system. Based on the percolation test results and the soil profile, we
conclude that the shallow soil percolation characteristics are suitable for a standard
design septic sewage system.
2. The nitrate loading study indicates the proposed new septic system will add an
additional approximately 58 pounds per year.
3. The nitrate loading study suggests the uppermost groundwater layer in the vicinity of
the Large, future septic system will be receiving a nitrate load approximately 28 Cy
percent of the allowable MCL limit.
:x: ; , 4 .
4. The groundwater water well sample contains no detectable DBCP.
8.2 Recommendations
A r. 4 .
The results of the this investigation suggest that a standard septic design is adequate for the
proposed winery. `:' "1
2937 Veneman Ave.,#13240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
