MS-92-81 ) <br /> Submitted for your review are the results of a Soil <br /> Suitability Study on the Buford Whitney property <br /> located at 7099 E. Peltier Road , Acampo, CA 95220 . <br /> Existing Septic Systems <br /> Existing San Joaquin County records were reviewed <br /> for the area in the immediate vicinity of the <br /> subject property . <br /> Permits were found for four properties . They were <br /> installed between May 25, 1971 and April 12 , 1989 . <br /> The one installed May 25 , 1971 , located at 6373 E. <br /> Peltier was a repair . No problems were recorded since . <br /> No problems were recorded on the other three properties . <br /> Existing Use <br /> The existing 80 acres are in grapes along with a <br /> test plot for seed tomatoes . There is also a <br /> residence with a barn and a former labor camp. <br /> Percolation Test <br /> Two percolation tests were performed in accordance <br /> with the percolation test procedures outlined in the <br /> "Manual Septic Tank Practice" , published by the <br /> U. S . Department of Health, Education and Welfare and <br /> per requirements of the San Joaquin County Local Health <br /> District . <br /> On May 7 and 8 , 1992 , two percolation tests were <br /> performed by me on the above referenced property in <br /> conformance with the San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> No . 549 . The approximate locations of the test holes <br /> are shown on the accompanying Detail Map. <br /> The Percolation Test Hole for Parcel 1 had a percolation <br /> rate of 15 minutes per inch. The Percolation Test Hole <br /> for Parcel 2 had a percolation rate of 10 minutes per <br /> inch. <br /> A soil profile was not performed because depth to <br /> water is in excess of 90 feet . <br />
