Owens property <br /> which consists of dividing a 20 acre parcel into two (2 ) <br /> equal parcels , Parcel No . 1 to contain 10 acres , and <br /> Parcel No . 2 to contain 10 acres at 7719 East Peltier <br /> Road, Acampo, California 95220 . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the James W. Owens <br /> property located in San Joaquin County at 7719 East Peltier Road. <br /> Acampo, California 95220 , and situate on the north side of East <br /> Peltier Road about 0 . 13 mile east of Dustin Road. <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. A total of nine ( 9) permits were reviewed and <br /> one of them was for the subject property. Seven (7 ) of the permits <br /> involved the installation of leach lines varying from thirty (30) <br /> feet to one hundred twenty ( 120) feet long with pits at their , ends <br /> varying from thirty-three (33 ) inches to forty-eight (48) inches in <br /> diameter and all twenty-five (25) feet deep. The permit for the <br /> subject property involved installing two ( 2) leach lines , one ( 1 ) <br /> thirty ( 30) feet long and one seventy feet long , with thirty-three <br /> (33) inch diameter pits , twenty-five feet deep, at their ends . One <br /> ( 1 ) permit was for adding to the existing septic system and <br /> involved adding one ( 1 ) 100 feet long leach line with a thirty- <br /> three ( 33) inch diameter pit at its end. <br /> The soil listed for the permit on the subject property was <br /> identified as sandy loam. The other eight ( 8) permits listed three <br /> (3 ) soil types and were identified as follows : ( 1 ) Clay Loam, ( 2 ) <br /> Loam Clay, and (3 ) Hardpan. The university Of California, College <br /> of Agriculture, Agricultural Experimental Station, Berkeley, <br /> California publication entitled "Soils Of San Joaquin County, <br /> California" , by Walter W . Weir , lists the soil at the subject <br /> property as either "Hanford Sandy Loam" or "San Joaquin Loam, Deep" <br /> and I have referred to it as a reddish-brown Sandy Loam on my <br /> James W . Owens , 7719 East Peltier Road, Acampo , California 95220 <br />
