(2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares,provided, however,that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][41) <br /> f. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept <br /> mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020) <br /> (2) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the Development Title. <br /> The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%)of landscaping within the <br /> perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. Nine (9)trees <br /> shall be planted and evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1020.5) <br /> g. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site <br /> Plan: <br /> (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles and <br /> twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles, except in no case shall driveways designated as fire <br /> department access be less than twenty(20)feet wide. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[h]) <br /> h. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains(Appendix 111-A <br /> of the Uniform Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordancewith Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire Code <br /> (3) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water-flow <br /> switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. A knox box(key <br /> box)shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume 2, Standard <br /> 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.
