<br /> 2.0 1Applicability., All operational landfill sites,landfill closure activities,and activities conducted at closed landfill sites which disturb surface soils
<br /> covering an area of more than one acre.
<br /> 5.1 Construction of a landfill site. Requirements of District Rule 8020 and the California Code of Regulations(CCR)Sections 17616
<br /> and 18222 apply.
<br /> 5.2 Adjacent public paved roads. Limit or promptly remove any accumulation of mud or dirt at the end of work day or once every 24
<br /> shoulders&accesses. hours. Recommend use of paved aprons,gravel strips,or wheel washers. The use of blown
<br /> devices for the removal of accumulations is prohibited. The use of dry rotary brushes is prohibited,
<br /> 5.2.1 except where preceded or accompanied by wetting to limit dust emissions.
<br /> Interior roads of the landfill site. Landfill roads connected to off-site adjacent paved public roads must be paved for a sufficient

<br /> 5 4 prohibited. Use of dry rotary brushes is prohibited,except when preceded or accompanied by
<br /> sufficient wetting.
<br /> Storage of construction vehicles. Rule 8070 applies.

<br /> Rule 8060 Paved and Unpaved Road
<br /> 2.0 Applicability.' Any paved,or unpaved public or private road,street,highway,freeway,alley,way, access drive,access easement,or driveway
<br /> constructed or modified after December 10, 1993. Road construction and repair activities are subject to requirements set forth in Rule 8020.
<br /> Exemptions. Easements and roads providing access for not more than ten residences;paved roads less than three miles in length, and
<br /> 4.0 unpaved roads less than'A mile in length;agricultural access roads;gated roads owned by a public agency,special district,or public utility on
<br /> which public access is prohibited; road maintenance and resurfacing activities,not including reconstruction or modifications that add travel
<br /> lanes or traffic capacity;and roads which have been approved. or for which construction bids have been awarded, prior to December 10. 1993.
