The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans <br /> before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> a. All display buildings in the "Ghost Town" area which have been converted to <br /> retail sales shall comply with all current code requirements including disabled <br /> access and structural integrity. These plans shall be prepared by a licensed <br /> architect or registered engineer. <br /> b. If the buildings are only for display purposes, the public shall not have access <br /> inside the building. Walkways and ramps leading to these buildings shall comply <br /> with all disabled access requirements. All unsafe conditions related to the display <br /> buildings must be corrected. <br /> c. All public use areas shall be made accessible. The wooden sidewalks shall not be <br /> open to the public. <br /> d. Provide complying restrooms, which meet all disabled access requirements. <br /> e. The continued use of the"Hotel" as retail sales and an apartment shall require the <br /> building to brought to current code which includes a structural analysis, <br /> occupancy separation and disabled access. <br /> f. When the existing storage area attached to the"Show Boat" is converted to a <br /> museum, all current code requirements shall be met. If converted to a museum, <br /> the building would exceed the allowable area and would have to be fire- <br /> sprinklered or divided by area separation walls. <br /> g. An inspection will be required of the"Stage Line"building to determine the <br /> structural adequacy and proper classification. <br />
