Ordinance requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1. DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIVISION: <br /> a. The planting of trees along streets is required as follows: <br /> (1) Trees shall be spaced at a minimum of 60-foot intervals or a minimum of one tree <br /> per lot frontage. (Section 9-1020.6(a)) <br /> (2) For comer lots, street trees shall be required on both street fromages. The trees <br /> cannot interfere with sight distances and setbacks. (Section 9-1020.6(c)) <br /> (3) Trees shall be 15 gallons in size. (Section 9-1020.6(b)) <br /> (4) Trees shall be located so that at 15 years of age the crown will not encroach <br /> across side property lines. (Section 9-1020.6(4)) <br /> (5) Trees shall be located a minimum of 10 feet from driveways. (Section 9- <br /> 1020.6(e)) <br /> (6) Trees shall be located a minimum of 4 feet and a maximum of 10 feet outside of <br /> the road right-of-way. (Section 9-1020.6(1)) <br /> M Street trees shall be required along street fromages where noise attenuation walls <br /> are required. They shall be placed in the yard or integrated with a serpentine <br /> wall. (Section 9-1020.6(g)) <br /> (8) Trees shall be chosen from the County Tree List (Section 9-1020.6(h)) <br /> (9) Exceptions trysBeet tree planting may be permitted on those lots where proper <br /> spacing is not possible provided the exceptions are granted by the Director of <br /> Community Development.
