MORADA MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL
Post Office Box 94
Lodi, California 95240
Telephone: (209) 931-3586
July 20, 2005
Gillian Hayes
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
Community Development Department
Development Services Division
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Re: Application Number: PA-0500401 (SU)
Dear Ms . Hayes :
Our concerns are that a community well should not be an
afterthought and dependent on other community wells around it --
these other wells are already having pressure problems . We are
asking Ghana Properties to get together with their next door
neighbor -- The Willows Development which already has monies in an
escrow account waiting on matching funds from the County, to put in
a well to service both developments . This well should be put in
first and not wait until the development is done .
Our concerns are that the lot sizes are not large enough to
properly sustain a septic system with adequate leach fields . We
have been told by County Health that an acre and a half to 2 acres
is preferable to sustain a septic system.
r
We are asking that the developer make the retention pond a
community baseball/soccer field/aquifer recharge basin_ This would
require two acre size lot rather than the one acre .
We want to make sure that there is adequate road width and
turnaround conditions for Waterloo Morada Fire Department fire
safety and emergency equipment.
Sincerely,
William V. Fields, Chairperson
MORADA MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL
