Phone: (209) 468-3443 RE: PA-0700359(GP),SU0006676 Attention: Kevin Swanson 10967 N.Hwy 99,Lodi The Environmental Health Department has the following concerns on this pre-application that need to be addressed: A. A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department, indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health Department at time of submittal of application. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- 1105.2(d)). A review fee of$490.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$98.00 per percolation hole is required. B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1115.7). C. The Environmental Health Department has no further conditions to impose at this application stage;however, future development will have conditions or requirements pertaining to the provisions of public water and public sewer. 11H ii
