Thank you for submitting San Joaquin County Application Number SA-01-41 tote San <br /> MANTECA. Joaquin County Airport Land Use Commission for review and comment. State law requires that <br /> land use within airport areas of influence must conform to the Airport Land Use Plan. <br /> STOCKTON. <br /> TRACY. <br /> AND The self storage facility project with one (1) 1,200 square foot managers residential <br /> THE COUNTY OF <br /> SAN ,°AQUI„ unit/office located just west of SR-99 on French Camp Road in Stockton falls within the Conical <br /> Zone of the Stockton Metro Airport's Area of Influence. Few restrictions are necessary for <br /> projects that fall in this zone. However, all proposed projects must adhere to the standards <br /> outlined in the 1993 amended Airport Land Use Plan. Standards pertinent to the Conical Zone <br /> include, but are not limited, to the following: <br /> ➢ The use of non-reflective materials, transmissions, and visual distractions to pilots; <br /> ➢ Residential uses are permitted if insulated to reduce interior noise to a level no higher <br /> than 45 dB; <br /> ➢ An avigation easement is recorded in favor of the Airport Operator, and, <br /> ➢ Proposed schools that are to be located within a 2-mile radius of an airport must undergo <br /> a review by Caltrans Division of Aeronautics and the State Department of Education. <br /> In addition, the property owner should be aware of the potential need to file FAA Form <br /> 7460-1 entitled Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration. This form can be accessed from <br /> www.faa.gov/arp/ace/faaforms.htm and sent to FAA, P.O.
