is not contiguous or adiacent to property designated for residential or <br /> commercial development; <br /> (D) provide for acceleration and decelerations lane or other traffic control <br /> devices determined to be necessary by Public Works; <br /> (E) be developed so that,ell truck activities are conducted within the confines <br /> of the terminal property with screening from adjacent property; <br /> (F) provide screening, landscaping,and buffers to the road and adjacent land <br /> use's; <br /> (G) be developed so there is adequate room to allow for easy maneuvering of <br /> trucks in and out of the terminal and in and out of the docks, and for <br /> parking both of the trucks and employee vehicles; and <br /> (H) not be adjacent to residential, commercial (other than freeway service <br /> areas)-or Resource Conservation areas that are on the County General <br /> Plan Map. <br /> The General Plan Text Amendment changes are reflected by the strike through and <br /> underlining in Development and Locational Criteria (3)(C) as proposed above. If the <br /> General Plan Text Amendment is approved, then the proposed 15.9-acre parcel will be <br /> consistent with all General Plan locational policies required for the Industrial-Truck <br /> Terminal designation. <br /> The applications have been tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting <br /> on July 1, 2004.
