The project must conform to the appropriate edition of the California Fire Code(currently the 2013 edition)and <br /> all related standards. <br /> 2. Approved vehicle access for fire fighting shall be provided to all construction or demolition sites.Vehicle <br /> access shall be provided to within 100 feet(30 480 mm)of temporary or permanent fire department <br /> connections.Vehicle access shall be provided by either temporary or permanent roads, capable of supporting <br /> vehicle loading under all weather conditions. Vehicle access shall be maintained until permanent fire apparatus <br /> access roads are available. <br /> 3. The Fire Apparatus Access Roads shall meet the requirements established by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chief's Association. <br /> 4. Key boxes shall be provided as required by 2013 CFC§506. <br /> 5. Pennits shall be obtained from the fire code official. Permit(s) and fees, if any, shall be paid prior to <br /> issuance of any and/or all permits. Issued permits shall be kept on site at all times and shall be readily <br /> available for inspection by the fire code official. <br /> 6. Where access to an area is restricted because of secured openings or where immediate access is <br /> necessary for life-saving or fire-fighting purposes, a key box is required to be installed in an approved <br /> location. The key box shall be of an approved type and shall contain keys to gain necessary access as <br /> required by the fire code official. <br /> 7. Approved address numbers shall be placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible from the <br /> street or road fronting the property. <br /> 8. Final approval is subject to field inspection.
