Manteca(Apel: 218-020-02).
We have circulated copies of the application and plans to our traffic operation 'safety units for review.
Caltrans has the following comments:
I. Caltrans has determined that this project will contribute to cumulative impacts at the intersection of
State Route(SR)99 and Lathrop Road.Therefore.C'altranc recommends the collection of impact fees on
a"Fair Share"basis for this intersection.
2. Caltrans would like to review proposed final site plans on the subject property.
_, Prior to,or as part ofthe issuance ofan encroachment permit.Caltrans may require a drainage study.
4. A Caltrans Lncroachment Permit will be required tior any work perk need within the right of way.
Additional hiolouical, archaeological. or other environmental studies may be required as a part of the
encroachment permit application. A qualified professional must conduct any studies undertakcn to
satisfy the Caltrans environmental re-,iew responsibilities. Ground disturbing acI1%Itics to the site prior
to completion and.Or approval of required environmental documents may effect Caltrans' ability to issue
a permit for the project. Furthermore. if engineering plans or drawings will be part of your permit
application. the} must be prepared in rnctric units.
If you have any y0csti0ns or would like to discus our comment; in niorc derail. please contact Mike
i lig gins,at(209)948-3996(email: mhiggins;rndot.ca.guv).
Sincerely.
Tom Dumas,Chief
Office of Intermodal Planning
Kilar,n Pugs 1 nt;21;111
