The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements <br /> w i I I be applicable and shall be incorpated i n the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> ( ) A. Fire flow w i 11 be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> ( ) 1. Apendix I I I-A of the Uniform Fire Code (public water mains). <br /> ( ) 2. NFPA 1 231 of the National Fire Cade and San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Standards (static water supply). <br /> ( ) 3. Location / Placement as directed by the Woodbridge Fire District. <br /> ( ) B. Fire hydrants shall be supplied i n accordance with Appendix I I I- B of the Uniform <br /> F ire Code. <br /> ( ) 1. Type and size as directed by the Woodbridge Fire District. <br /> ( ) 2. Location / Piacement as directed by the Woodbridge F ire Distict. <br /> ( ) C. Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the <br /> California Fire Cade and the appropiate standards and guides adopted in Chapter <br /> 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> ( ) D. All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinklers systems <br /> and water flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with 904.3.1 of the <br /> California Fire Code- <br /> E. <br /> odeE. Fire Department access roads shall be i n accordance with section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> ( ) 1. Inspection of access roads shall be completed by the Woodbridge Fire <br /> District. <br /> F. Fire Department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code (Key Boxes). <br /> �) 1. Key Box and Access Systems information as provided by the Woodbridge <br /> Fire District. <br /> 2. Location of key box and or access system as per direction of the Woodbridge <br /> Fire District. <br /> G. Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> Voiumne 2, Standard 10- 1 . <br /> H. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous <br /> to life or property, California Fire Code 105.2.1 <br /> I.
