The Department has the following
comments:
This proposed development may not create a major impact on SR-99 when considered
by itself: However, when combined with the cumulative impacts of other existing and
proposed development in this area, the resulting traffic will contribute to the
significant congestion forecasted to the SR-99 mainline and at the interchange of SR-
99/ Jahant Road. Therefore, the Department recommends the collection of impact
fees on a "Fair Share" basis for future improvements to these facilities.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss our comments in more detail, please
contact Dan Brewer at (209) 948-7142 (e-mail: dan.brewerAdot.ca.gov) or me at(209)
941-1921.
Sires rely,
T DUMAS, C
Office of Intermodal Planning
Caltrans improves mobility across California"
