4) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from <br /> traffic and kept mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020.) <br /> h. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> 1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, <br /> shall be screened so as not to be visible from adjacent properties and public <br /> rights-of-way. Screening shall be six (6) to seven (7) feet in height. Outside <br /> storage is not permitted in front yards, street side yards, or in front of main <br /> buildings. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be <br /> shown on the Site Plan: <br /> 1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for <br /> two-way aisles and sixteen (16) feet for one-way aisles, except that in no case <br /> shall driveways designated as fire department access be less than twenty (20) <br /> feet wide. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for <br /> a building permit: <br /> 1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> A. NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static water supply). <br /> 2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> 3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 Key <br /> Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> 4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> 5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property.
