The project site is located on the west
side of State Route 99 Frontage Road,400 feet south of Collier Road., Acampo..
It appears that this project is on a road under county jurisdiction. If this is not the
case, and the project fronts state right of way, it will need an Encroachment Permit..
The project, as described, is expected to have minimal impact on State facilities..
If an Encroachment Permit will be required, please include a copy of the
environmental document (Initial Study for Negative Declaration (with or without
mitigation measures)) or the DEIR for review. We need the information contained in
the environmental document in order to ascertain the significance of the
environmental impacts of this project to the State Transportation System. This is
especially important when there is the project is adjacent to the right of way, contains
a direct encroachment, or land dedication to the State of California.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss these comments in more detail,
please contact Lynn O'Connor, at(209) .948-7575 (email' loconnor@dot.ca.gov).
Sincerely,
a
`.f 1
i, Ir-
Tom Dumas, Chief
Office of intermodal Planning
