GROUND WATER <br /> The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District ground-water <br /> depth and elevation maps indicate the ground water levels of most parts of the San Joaquin <br /> County.' The most recent ground-water maps for Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 indicate the <br /> ground-water depths ranges between 60 to 79 feet. The ground-water flow direction and gradient <br /> near the site were interpreted from the map to be flowing eastward ranging between 8 to 13 feet <br /> per mile (Plates 2 thru 5). No ground water was encountered in the deep percolation test boring <br /> which terminated at 20 feet. The following table summarizes all the available ground water <br /> information collected for the site and nearby area. <br /> Table 2.
