This addendum contains the additional information requested to be added to my
Soil Suitability Study for the Rodger W. Towers Property at 25812 North Highway 99,
East Frontage, Acampo, California 95220,Land Use Application No. PA-02-238,by the
Environmental Health Department Department's letter from Linda A. Turkette,Lead
Senior REHS, Land Use Program, dated July 24, 2003. The order in which the items are
presented is the same as are stated in the above-mentioned letter.
1.0Introdu -tion and Proposed Development Section
A revised Tentative Parcel Map is attached to this addendum showing zoning, water
and gas well locations, a better site description, and other pertinent topography
information. This revised Tentative Parcel Map provides the deficient topography details
requested.
Also, a OR-757-375 Deed Reference Sheet is attached and although it does not show
the exact location of the gas well, it is the best information and most detailed data The
State Department Of Conservation in Sacramento has provided me.
Also attached is a San Joaquin County Search Results sheet which identifies the 2010
zoning for the subject property as RR. As stated in the attached Search Results Sheet a
Waal homesite could be built on Parcel l of the planned two (2)parcel creation and as
noted on the attached Table 9-310.3, the building coverage on the property is limited to
35 percent. Considering the need to comply with property set backs, well clearance
distances and septic system minimum sewage disposal areas, etc, it appears the two acres
parcel,Parcel 2, will accommodate a three bedroom home. The Construction will about
double the sewage disposal presently discharged on the total 4.1 acres subject property.
2.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE SECTION
A San Joaquin Co. Environmental Health Department Septic Permit Record Study
table is attached to this addendum providing the permit number, date, name, address, soil
type, leach field, pits (line length to them, number of pits, pit diameter and depth)data
which provides the permit history requested and supplements the data contained in my
ten(10)permit summation contained in my Soil Suitability Study dated June23, 2003.
The permit history indicates that pit installations have been the only type of septic
systems installed in the general area of the subject property and that only three (3)
additions or repairs were made over about a thirteen-year period.
No failures of the septic system installed on the subject property were note except
that the initially installed system was rotated to accommodate a lot line change.
The recommended pit installations for Parcels 1 and 2 are consistent with past
history septic installations.
