06/29/07 10=42 kAS ?25 ;)73 159U M b I <br /> PROPOSAL <br /> SOIL EVALUATION OF ARROWHEAD TECHNOLOGIES SEPTIC SYSTEM <br /> 3291 South highway 99 , west frontage road_ <br /> Stockton California <br /> PURPOSE <br /> To determine if the waste affluent from Arrowhead <br /> Technologies manufacturing facility released into the septic <br /> system on the property has caused Lead contamination in the <br /> surrounding- land to be in excess of that allowed by law - <br /> METHOD <br /> A total of six test borings , (see attached site sketch) will <br /> be made . Four in close proximity to each of the four leach <br /> lines , spaced to provide representative coverage . One bore <br /> at the north corner of the property, behind the permitter <br /> fence, close to highway 99 (for background Lead resulting <br /> from combustion products o4 motor vehicle fuels; - A final <br /> bore at the back of the property approximately eight hundred <br /> feet from the septic system as a area control sample . <br /> The leach lines are located approximately four feet beneath <br /> ground level . To insure that a cogent -sample is obtained , <br /> all test borings will be approximately five feet in depth. <br /> The samples will be removed from the bare hole and placed Ir. <br /> sealed containers , appropriately labeled , for submission to <br /> analysis . <br /> The method of soil analysis will be for toca_l Lead only_ <br /> this being the element of interest , using the Waste <br /> Extraction Test (WET) procedure from Title 22 , California <br /> Code of Regulations (CRR) , section 66700 .
