This project would consist of a two Phase project; with Phase I to begin immediately,
and Phase II within 10 years.
Phase I use will be for a diesel truck/trailer repair and maintenance and trailer storage of
up to 35± trailers on Saturday, and 25 + trucks entering and exiting. During the week
and Sundays, there could be 10- 15 trailers and 5-10 trucks parked on site, and entering
and exiting.
Phase I construction work would consist of grading, asphalt/concrete driveways and
entrance, a 1,000 square foot modular office and minor remodeling of existing 5,000
square feet building on site for the maintenance shop. Also, an area behind the
proposed building will be graded, lime treated and chip sealed for storage of trailers.
The modular office would accommodate up to 5 employees and the maintenance shop
up to 3 employees. They would operate mainly Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5
PM.
There will be no loading or unloading of the trailers at this facility. It is only a staging
location for routing to final destinations.
Phase 11 would consist of construction of a 10,000 square foot maintenance shop and
related parking and driveways.
