Approve a Negative Declaration and instruct the Clerk to file
a Notice of Determination; and
2 . Approve Use Permit Application No. UP-88-15 based on the fin-
dings in the staff report and subject to the conditions of
approval in the staff report .
FINDINGS
1 . "The establishment , maintenance, and operation of the use
does not conflict with the General Plan. "
° Staff can make this finding because the project is con-
sistent with the General Plan Industrial policies .
2 . "
Staff can make this finding because the use currently meets
code requirements as demonstrated by the site plan sub-
mitted with the Use Permit application.
4 . "Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental
to the public health, safety, or welfare or be injurious to
the property or improvements of adjacent properties . "
° Staff can make this finding because the truck terminal use
already exists, and this expansion can be added without
being detrimental to the area.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The proposed project is to add 49 loading docks to the 28
existing docks at the Yellow Freight truck terminal .
