Attachment A
City of Stockton and County of San Joaquin Deferred Annexation Agreement for Airpark
599 Project
The Airpark 599 project is situated on approximately 295 acres, adjacent to the
Stockton Metropolitan Airport, in San Joaquin County, CA. The land is currently owned
by San Joaquin County. Airpark 599 is part of the greater Stockton Metropolitan Airport
Special Purpose Plan that was approved by the County in October, 2000. The subject
property is zoned AP/X, Airport Mixed-Use, intended to provide flexibility to establish
industrial and commercial land uses. The current anticipated build-out of the project
includes approximately 3.5 million square feet of industrial/distribution buildings and
approximately 178,000 square feet of retail/commercial buildings. Market demand for
new, state-of-the-art, industrial/distribution buildings is strong in San Joaquin
County. This project also benefits from its location with excellent access to Interstate 5
and Highway 99.
