The <br /> purpose of Regulation VIII is to reduce the amount of fine particulate matter (PM10) <br /> entrained into the ambient air from man-made sources. Specifically, the Rules within <br /> Regulation VIII that apply to this project are: Rule 8010 (Administrative Requirements), <br /> arid Ruie 8020 (Const 'uction, Demoiition, Excavation, and Extraction Activities i. <br /> Rule 8030 (Handling and Storage of Bulk Materials), Rule 8060 (Paved and Unpaved <br /> Roads), and Rule 8070 (Parking, Shipping, Receiving, Transfer, Fueling, and Service <br /> Areas) may apply to this project <br /> The attached Synopsis highlights many of the requirements contained within <br /> Regulation VIII. The Synopsis is not meant to be all inclusive. but it can be a useful <br /> compliance aid in the field and office alike. Please refer to Regulation VIII for specific <br /> requirements. <br /> David L.
