Regular Grading (projects with earthwork less than 5,000 cubic yards)three complete sets of plans and specifications <br /> containing the following information. If the Building Official has cause to believe that geologic factors may be involved, <br /> the application must comply with the Engineered Grading requirements. (Note:all plans must be 18"x 24"minimum.) <br /> a. Site plan drawn to scale showing the location of the site,property lines,north arrow,easements and all existing and <br /> proposed development. The location of any buildings or structures on adjacent property within 15'of the grading <br /> site or that may be affected by the grading operation must be shown. <br /> b. A plan showing the relative contours of the existing round and details of terrain and area drainage. <br /> c. A plan showing the elevations,dimensions, location, extent and slopes of proposed grading using contours or other <br /> suitable means. <br /> d. A detailed plan showing all surface and subsurface drainage devices,walls,cribbing,dams and other protective <br /> devices to be constructed with,or as part of the proposed work. This plan must show the drainage area and the <br /> estimated runoff of the area served by any drains. <br /> e. A statement containing the following: <br /> • The quantity of excavation and fill. <br /> • That the project complies with the 2001 CBC, Chapters 18 and 33. <br /> • The specific intention or ultimate purpose for grading the property. <br /> • Information covering construction and material requirements(if required). <br /> • USGS datum if the project is within the 100- ear flood area. <br /> 3.
