a4H'" SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> o. .CA <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> r: <br /> Memorandum <br /> To: Development Services Date: 11/04/2008 <br /> tact person <br /> From: Fire Prevention, Steve Dalton D.C.Date: 11/04/2008 <br /> (Contact person) <br /> Subject: PA-0800268 <br /> (Planning application refcrral number) <br /> Project Summary: Site approval for an off-site wine cellar and conversion of a 550 sq ft pool house to a wine tasting room <br /> with up to 24 marketing event per year.005-080-10; 28001 N.Nichols Rd.Woodbridge FD <br /> The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> ❑ a. ❑ The Fire Prevention Division has reviewed this application and there does not appear to be any major problems <br /> associated with the proposed project as submitted. <br /> A complete review at building permit submittal will require compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> [_.j b. Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> ❑ 1 J Appendix B and C of the California Fire Code. <br /> ❑ 2.)NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. <br /> ❑ c. Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Chapter 9 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards <br /> and guides adopted in California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> ® d. Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 503.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard <br /> adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> ❑ e. This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the <br /> map for record.Please contact Fire Prevention at 2091168-3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. <br /> ❑ f. This project shall comply with the San Joaquin County Development Title Section 9-1150.18,Road Naming <br /> Proceedures.Please contact the Community Development Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior <br /> to requesting Fire Department approval. <br /> © g. Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> ❑ h Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code,section 906. <br /> B i. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.1.1 <br /> ❑ j, A technical report to determine the acceptability of technologies, processes, products, facilities, materials, and uses <br /> attending the design,operation or use of the building or premises may be required.(CFC 104.7.2) <br /> —1 k.
