October 14,2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04112A <br /> been planted to the northeast of the subject property. <br /> In the 2002 photo, all structures have been removed from the subject property. The path of the <br /> irrigation canal can still be seen, though it is apparently no longer used. The portion of the subject <br /> ►� property north of the canal is green as though it is being irrigated,while the portion to the south is dry. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> ` The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S.Geological Survey,Stockton East, <br /> California,quadrangle map. One map dated 1968 photorevised 1987 was available at NOA. <br /> �• In the 1987 map,two structures are depicted in the southeast corner of the subject property,one dating <br /> to 1968 and one to the 1987 revision. Norman Avenue and the surrounding roads are depicted. Two <br /> large structures are depicted to the immediate west of the subject property. Structures which may <br /> �. indicate a poultry farm are depicted to the north. The surrounding streets are populated with residences, <br /> particularly to the west. <br /> 6. This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> v <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> `. Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr. Huerta, the current owner, on October 4, 2004. In his •J <br /> responses to the questionnaire,Mr. Huerta indicated that he has no environmental knowledge of the <br /> Lsubject property. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. <br /> Mr. Robert Fraser,the previous owner,was interviewed by telephone on October 6,2004. Mr. Fraser <br /> indicated that he owned the subject property for 20 to 30 years. He stated that he believed the southern <br /> portion of the subject property had been used as a hog ranch in the past and that he had torn down <br /> several structures from that use during his years as the owner. Mr. Fraser did not know the years that <br /> L the property had been used for hogs. He indicated that he had sprayed the southern portion of the <br /> property with Roundup to prevent fires and that the rear(northern) portion of the property had been <br /> used to grow clover by the Lucchesi brothers. Mr. Fraser was not aware of any wells or septic systems <br /> i on the property,nor could he recall any hazardous materials incidents or dumping. He did indicate that <br /> a dairy was located on a nearby property. Mr. Fraser stated that he was born and raised in the <br /> neighborhood of the subject property. <br /> 4 "044 <br /> r <br />
