October 14,2004 NOA Project Number: E04112A been planted to the northeast of the subject property. In the 2002 photo, all structures have been removed from the subject property. The path of the irrigation canal can still be seen, though it is apparently no longer used. The portion of the subject ►� property north of the canal is green as though it is being irrigated,while the portion to the south is dry. These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps ` The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S.Geological Survey,Stockton East, California,quadrangle map. One map dated 1968 photorevised 1987 was available at NOA. �• In the 1987 map,two structures are depicted in the southeast corner of the subject property,one dating to 1968 and one to the 1987 revision. Norman Avenue and the surrounding roads are depicted. Two large structures are depicted to the immediate west of the subject property. Structures which may �. indicate a poultry farm are depicted to the north. The surrounding streets are populated with residences, particularly to the west. 6. This map is included in Appendix C of this report. 2.4 Interviews v An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and `. Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr. Huerta, the current owner, on October 4, 2004. In his •J responses to the questionnaire,Mr. Huerta indicated that he has no environmental knowledge of the Lsubject property. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. Mr. Robert Fraser,the previous owner,was interviewed by telephone on October 6,2004. Mr. Fraser indicated that he owned the subject property for 20 to 30 years. He stated that he believed the southern portion of the subject property had been used as a hog ranch in the past and that he had torn down several structures from that use during his years as the owner. Mr. Fraser did not know the years that L the property had been used for hogs. He indicated that he had sprayed the southern portion of the property with Roundup to prevent fires and that the rear(northern) portion of the property had been used to grow clover by the Lucchesi brothers. Mr. Fraser was not aware of any wells or septic systems i on the property,nor could he recall any hazardous materials incidents or dumping. He did indicate that a dairy was located on a nearby property. Mr. Fraser stated that he was born and raised in the neighborhood of the subject property. 4 "044 r
