Phase 1 is <br /> to permit 3 homes. Phase 2 is to permit 1 additional home. The project is located on the northeast corner of E. <br /> Ralph Avenue and South B Street, in Stockton. APN 177-230-12 <br /> 1 <br /> The residential land uses proposed are compatible with the 2009 ALUCP Safety Zones for Stockton Metro <br /> Airport. The following are standards and project design conditions specific to compliance with the ALUCP and <br /> should be carried through as conditions of approval: This is not a mitigation request. These are project design <br /> conditions that are required as part of compliance with the 2009 ALUCP: <br /> 1. New land uses that may cause visual, electronic, or increased bird strike hazards to aircraft in flight shall <br /> not be permitted within any airport's influence area. Specific characteristics to be avoided include: <br /> o Glare or distracting lights which could be mistaken for airport lights. Reflective materials are <br /> not permitted to be used in structures or signs (excluding traffic directing signs); <br /> o Sources of dust, steam, or smoke which may impair pilot visibility; <br /> o Sources of electrical interference with aircraft communications or navigation. No transmissions <br /> which would interfere with aircraft radio communications or navigational signals are permitted. <br /> o Any proposed use, especially landfills and certain agricultural uses, that creates an increased <br /> attraction for large flocks of birds. <br /> 2. Occupied structures must be soundproofed to reduce interior noise to 45dB according to State <br /> Guidelines. <br />
