By retaining NOA Environmental to complete a Phase 1 according to ASTM E 1527-00, you have set in motion an investigative process by which "all appropriate inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of the property" will be conducted. Please be aware th,-t while the Phase 1 process is often routine, our responsibility is not to merely complete a checklist ofinformation sources reviewed,but to investigate the past ownership or uses of the subject property and nearby properties and identify any situations which might have caused enviroianental contau►tu,ativi, of Ila; property. User's Responsibilities ASTM Standard E1527-00 identifies specific responsibilities on the part of the user to assist in completing the investigation. It also specifies that the current owner(s) and occupants (if any) be interviewed. The attached two-part questionnaire is designed to address these specific portions of the Phase 1 investigation.
