By retaining NOA <br /> Environmental to complete a Phase 1 according to ASTM E 1527-00, you have set in motion an <br /> investigative process by which "all appropriate inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of the <br /> property" will be conducted. Please be aware th,-t while the Phase 1 process is often routine, our <br /> responsibility is not to merely complete a checklist ofinformation sources reviewed,but to investigate <br /> the past ownership or uses of the subject property and nearby properties and identify any situations <br /> which might have caused enviroianental contau►tu,ativi, of Ila; property. <br /> User's Responsibilities <br /> ASTM Standard E1527-00 identifies specific responsibilities on the part of the user to assist in <br /> completing the investigation. It also specifies that the current owner(s) and occupants (if any) be <br /> interviewed.
