CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test locations appear to be suitable for
use with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of less than 5.0
min/in (Parcels 1, 2, and 4, deep zones), 27.8 min/in (Parcel 3, shallow), and 7.8 min/in
(Parcel 3, deep) were observed in the test locations. No new construction is planned for
the Site at this time.
The depth of ground water based on recent aquifer levels is estimated to range between
133 to 139 feet below ground surface. The ground-water flow is to the west or west-
southwest at a rate of approximately four to eight feet per mile.
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well. Nitrate was detected in the
sample at a concentration of 1.8 mg/L-N, well below the MCL of 10 mg/L-N. DBCP was
not detected in the sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach lines
and seepage pits.
LOGE 1602 Page 9
