OUR <br /> HOME IS LOCATED AT 4152 RIVIERA DRIVE, ON THE MAIN CHANNEL, 200 FEET <br /> FROM THE SITE OF THIS APPLICATION. WE BOUGHT OUR HOME IN THIS AREA <br /> BECAUSE THE LOTS ARE LARGE AND THE AREA IS QUIET. THE ARE ONLY 110 <br /> ORIGINAL LOTS. THIS IS THE NICEST AREA IN STOCKTON IN WHICH TO LIVE. <br /> WE OBJECT TO THE HACKETT PROPOSAL FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: <br /> IF WE ALL START TO SUBDIVIDE LIKE THE HACKETT PROPOSAL IT WILL <br /> ABSOLUTELY RUIN OUR AREA. IF WE ALL SUBDIVIDED OUR LOTS, THE SIZE OF <br /> THE SUBDIVISION WILL EASILY DOUBLE OR WILL GO FROM 110 LOTS TO 220 <br /> LOTS OR MORE. THE CHARACTER OF THE SUBDIVISION WILL BE RUINED. <br /> THE INFRASTRUCTURE, SEWER, WATER, DRAINAGE AND STREETS WILL NOT <br /> SUPPORT THAT NUMBER OF LOTS. THE CITY WHICH TREATS OUR SEWAGE, <br /> PROBABLY WOULD NOT APPROVE THE ADDITION SEWER CONNECTIONS. <br /> THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY IN AND OUT OF THE SUBDIVISION ON A NARROW, <br /> WINDING LEVEE ROAD. IT IS NOT A SAFE SITUATION IN CASE OF AN <br /> EMERGENCY AND THE ROADWAY GETS BLOCKED. ANY ADDITIONAL LOTS <br /> WILL ADD TO THE PROBLEM. <br /> THE PROJECT SITE IS LOCATED AT A VERY BAD, BLIND INTERSECTION. TO <br /> ALLOW 8 ADDITIONAL LOTS TO ENTER AND EXIT AT THIS INTERSECTION <br /> WOULD BE A VERY DANGEROUS THING TO DO. THAT WOULD BE 80 <br /> ADDITIONAL TRIPS PER DAY. <br /> THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION IS POORLY DESIGNED. A PRIVATE ROAD <br /> SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED. THE ROAD SHOULD BE 25 FEET IN WIDTH. THE <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT AND SHERIFF DEPARTMENTS WON'T LIKE THIS DESIGN. <br /> THE SHERIFF WANTS TO BE ABLE TO SEE ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK OF A <br /> CUL DE SAC WITHOUT DRIVING ONTO THE STREET. THEY DON'T LIKE DOG <br /> LEG CUL DE SAC'S. <br />
