SEE <br /> ATTACHED COPY OF THE ORIGINAL RIVIERA CLIFFS SUBDIVISION MAP OF <br /> 1952. THE PART OF THE LOTS IN THE PRIVATE ROADWAY SHOULD NOT <br /> COUNT AS PART OF THE LOT. THE LOTS 1 THRU 5 ARE ACTUALLY ONLY 95 <br /> FEET (APPROXIMATELY) IN DEPTH AS ARE LOTS 8, 9 AND 10. LOT 10 IS ONLY <br /> 60 FEET WIDE AND HAS A STREET SIDE YARD OF A CORNER LOT. IT APPEARS <br /> THAT THE APPLICANT IS TRYING TO GET AS MANY LOTS AS POSSIBLE <br /> WITHOUT WITH OUT REGARD TO THE USEFULNESS OF THE LOTS. <br /> WE REQUEST THAT BEFORE THIS APPLICATION CAN PROCEED ANT FURTHER, <br /> AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT SHOULD BE PREPARED ADDRESSING <br /> ALL OF THE IMPACTS, ESPECIALLY THE TRAFFIC SAFETY IN GENERAL WITH <br /> EMPHASIS ON THE BLIND CORNER, THE ADEQUACY OF OUR ONE WAY IN AND <br /> OUT AND THE ABILITY OF OUR INFRASTRUCTURE TO SUPPLY THE ADDITIONAL <br /> LOTS. WE KNOW THAT THE WATER LINE IN THE OUTSIDE STREETS IS ONLY 6 <br /> INCHES IN DIAMETER AND SHOULD BE 12 INCH., THE WATER LINE IN THE TWO <br /> INTERIOR STREETS IS ONLY 4 INCH AND SHOULD BE 8 INCHES. CAN YOU <br /> IMAGE A FIRE HYDRANT BEING SERVED BY A 4 INCH WATER LINE ? THE <br /> SEWERS ARE SMALL AND INSTALLED ON TOO FLAT OF SLOPE, THE PIPE <br /> SIZES AND SLOPES WOULD NOT BE PERMITTED BY TODAY'S STANDARDS. <br /> WE THINK THAT THE AREA SHOULD RE ZONED OR RECLASSIFIED IN THE <br /> GENERAL PLAN FOR VERY LOW DENSITY SO THAT LOTS CAN NOT BE DIVIDED. <br /> WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL DENY THIS APPLICATION AND SAVE OUR GREAT <br /> AREA AND LEAVE IT THE WAY IT IS.
