Y ail e. The LOF shall notify the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office at least 60 days in advance of any entertainment event with an expected attendance of greater then 500 people. The notification shall providda description of the event and the contact information for the promoter of the event. The notification shall also provide the security plan for the event. The San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office shall review each event to determine if additional security and or Law Enforcement'stafhng is required. f. During entertainment events which are determined by the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office to require Law Enforcement staffing, the LOF shall contract with a Law Enforcement agency of their choice to provide additional security for the event. LOF shall provide the San Joaquin County. Sheriffs Office with a copy of the Law Enforcement contract at least 15 days prior to the event. g. The LOF shall notify the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Office at least 60 day in advance of any entertainment events involving the use of animals, including but not limited to Bloodless Bull fights, Bull riding, Rodeo or Animal Exhibition shows. The LOF shall ensure that San Joaquin County Sheriffs Deputies and Animal Control Officers are granted full access to any animals, equipment ajrd vehicles used during event. The LOF shall ensure that deputies and Animal Control Officers are granted this access, before, during and after the event. The LOF shall ensure that f e promoters of events involving animals and their employees cooperate completely with Law Enforcement and Animal Control. 3. ANIMAL CONTROL(Staff Contact: Ernest Molieri [209)468-6070) a. Animal Cont requests that the responsible person/applicant within 90 days prior to the event j provide business information of the owner(s) of all the animals that will perforin at the event. I b. Animal Control staff shall be permitted to inspect:the animals and the animals housing before, during, and after the event. P c. The responsible person/applicant shall be required to have a contracted veterinarian licensed to practice in tl~s state to attend the performance and be present at all times during the performance;_the veterinarian shall have complete access to the site of any event that uses animals; theveterinarian may, for good cause, declare any animal unfit for use in any event; any animal that isinjured during the course of, or as a result of, any event shall receive immediate examination,and appropriate treatment by the attending veterinarian. d. The rodeo mnagement shall ensure that there is a conveyance available at all times for the immediate acrd humane removal of any injured animal; the management shall ensure that no electric prod,fir similar device is used on any animal once the animal is in the holding chute, unless necessary to protect the participants and spectators of the rodeo or bullfight. e. Animal Control staff shall be permitted to inspect any or all equipment to be used in the performances#o assure no unlawful paraphernalia, i.e. Mexican hook spurs, spike or nail tipped banderilleros: f. The responsible person/property owner shall not violate California Penal Code 597 Crimes Against Animals, i.e. Horse tripping, steer tailing. g.
