Attachment: Application - Rivisions of Approved Actions
Aggregates, Inc .
1/30/97
Project Description:
#2 . The grades certified by the engineer, for Phase I were
thought to be in "substantial compliance" prior to submission to
planning authority. Apparently there is no tolerance in final
grades therefore we are requesting a revision to the final
grades, as finished, in order to proceed with the planting of
almond trees on this 35 acre parcel . The trees are currently in
cold storage and should be planted prior to the spring rains
generally in February and March.
Regrading of the site is virtually impossible due to the extreme
amounts of precipitation in December and January of 1997 . The
site has been observed during the heavy precipitation and the
drainage and or percolation of the surface appears to be more
than adequate. The surface as built is well suited to sprinkler
irrigation. The revised elevations will not create any problems
for the adjacent property owners surrounding the site.
This request for revision to the original Grading Excavation plan
is for interim action until the applicant can file an application
for a Quarry Excavation Permit and proceed with the permit
process which takes months . The total property, 93 acres, which
includes 35 acre parcel in Phase I will be included in the
Quarry Excavation Application.
