The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> Im conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County,Public Health Services,Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> +~ In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps,and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> L <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow,to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist; dated July 14,2003. <br /> rr <br /> 1-1.1 Site Description <br /> The subject property is located at 651 West Sargent Road,Lodi, California. The property consists of <br /> a 36.8-acre parcel (APN 029-020-57), rectangular in shape with a small rectangle cut out of the <br /> southeast corner by the adjacent property.The parcel is presently fallow land with a warehouse and <br /> a pole barn, both near the southeast corner of the subject property.
