I live very close to the neighborhood/area that Mr. McCay has proposed building <br /> a winery. I am opposed to this idea for many reasons. First, my 9 year old son rides <br /> his bike on all of the roads surrounding the location of this winery and extra traffic <br /> would be very dangerous. Second, we have chosen to live in the country for the sole <br /> reason that we wanted to be removed from excess traffic and noise. I believe that a <br /> winery in our neighborhood would present both of these poor-living conditions to our <br /> daily lives. Third, the idea of masses of people drinking alcohol and then driving right <br /> past our house is anything but positive. And finally, my son has a very strict bedtime of <br /> 8:00 every night. If he is not asleep by that time, he is unable to do well in school. I <br /> am anticipating that a winery offering evening events and parties would undoubtedly <br /> bring late night noise and disturbance to this area. <br /> I very strongly hope that careful consideration is taken when deciding whether or <br /> not to continue with the construction of Mr. McCay's winery.
