KLEINFELDER
r
- Year. 1983
Photo I.D.: 06077-183-73R
Scale: I inch =400
'— Type.Black and White
Quality: Good
The subject site and surrounding area appears essentially unchanged from the previous 1975
aerial photograph with the exception of the southern portion of the site split into an area of row
crops and what appears to be a depressed fallow agricultural area.
r
Year; 1993
Photo I.D.: 1082881.6
Scale: I inch = 666 feet
Type: Black and White
Quality: Good
r
The northern portion of the subject site appears to be fallow or dry crop; the southern portion of
the site is a continuation of the neighboring Owens-Brockway (Illinois) facility with a large
warehouse structure, two ponds north and south of the warehouse, and a tank structure north of
the warehouse. Evidence of the gas pipeline is also noted traversing the southwest comer of the
` site.
The Owens-Brockway (Illinois) facility is still functional with approximately six ponds and
process facilities and a large warehouse. Also a facility (Tracy Biomass) was constructed north
of the northern portion of the site, several piles of biomass piles are noted, a process area, and a
pond. The remaining surrounding area appears essentially unchanged from the previous 1983
aerial photograph with most surrounding agricultural property cultivated to row or dry crops.
NOTE: Aerial photographs only provide information on indications of land use and no
conclusions can be drawn from photographs alone. However, Kleinfelder's review of available
aerial photographs did not reveal obvious signs of dumping, spilling, leaking, storage or disposal
of hazardous materials or wastes on site.
5.2. SANBORN FIRE INSURANCE MAPS
r
Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps provide historical land use information for some metropolitan and
small established towns. Kleinfelder, Inc. requested a search of Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps,
there is no Sanborn Map coverage for the subject site.
L
5.3. POLK AND HAINES CRISS-CROSS DIRECTORIES
Environmental Data Resources (EDR) conducted a city directory search for the subject site
address, 15000 West Schulte Road, in the Polk City Directories.
