Approve the Negative Declaration; and <br /> 2. Approve Time Extension Application No. TE-92-19 for a period of one year for Use Permit <br /> Application No. UP-88-19,with the Time Extension to expire on Novevember 29, 1993, at 5:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The applicant is requesting a one-year Time Extension for approved Use Permit No. UP-88-19. <br /> The approved project is a truck stop on approximately 50 acres at the southeast comer of the intersection <br /> of Patterson Pass Road and Schulte Road, adjacent to the Patterson Pass Business Park. Two 2-story <br /> buildings with basements and a single-story building cover 2.36 acres of the site and are illustrated in the <br /> attached site plan. Building 'A' includes a 2-story, 88-room truckers lodge and a variety of commercial <br /> uses and professional services to serve the drivers. Two theaters, showers, a bowling alley, an exercise <br /> room, a game room, and a lounge area are for truckers only. A barber shop, boot repair shop, truckers <br /> accessories, truckers apparel, and trucking electronics will be open to the general public but will cater <br /> primarily to truckers. A general store and two restaurants will be available to the general public. A radio <br /> station for truckers is located on the top floor. <br /> The second building (labeled 'B and C') is primarily a truck repair and maintenance facility. It also <br /> includes parts and tire sales. A mini-mart and part of the garage facilities are open to the public. <br /> A third building (Building 'D') is a cashier's station and truckers accessories shop. <br />
