r7San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
September 17, 2003
PA-03-0132 (MS)
Page 2
Section 6.4: There was no water remaining in the test holes. As noted on the Field Perc Test Forms, I
could have followed Procedure #3, ran the perc tests for one hour. But I recorded the percolation over
a four hour period to ensure the soil was completely saturated and to observe how the soil behaves
under saturated conditions.
Section 6.5: Two inches of gravel was added to each perc test boring.
Section 6.6: The correct perc rate calculations are: For Parcel#1: 7.3 mpi, for Parcel #2: 7.5 mpi, and
Parcel #3: 5.0 mpi.
I hope this fulfills the requirements of the San Joaquin County EHD. If there should be any questions,
please contact the undersigned.
Respectfully submitted, eg ;}
0 ;
Don Chesne R.E. *1 Exp;rs: J' ,
' A
A
V
Chesney Consulting
