D DJC-Tracy is primarily a storage <br /> and distribution facility for various supplies common to U.S.military <br /> services in the western U.S.and throughout the Pacific. The <br /> operating portion of the depot covers a 448-acre triangular parcel, <br /> and the recentl y added Tracy Annex consists of 460 acres of <br /> agricultural land north of the operation portion. The topography at <br /> DDJC-Tracy is gently downward to the north-northwest from an elevation <br /> of about 115 feet above mean sea level(msl)at the southern corn er <br /> to an elevation of 45 feet above sea level at the northern edge of the <br /> Tracy Annex. About 75 percent of the operating portion is covered <br /> with buildings(primarily warehouses),asphalt,or concrete. Numerous <br /> smaller buildings in the northwest cor ner of the depot house <br /> administration and operations.
