CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions near the percolation tests appear to be suitable for use
with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of 7.8 min/in (Parcel 1)
and 8.9 min/in (Parcel 2) were observed in the test locations. No new construction is
proposed at this time. With a satisfactory test, the area 100 feet in radius from each test
location could be used to construct a septic system drain field.
Information related to ground water depth and gradient was not available for the area of
the Site, the closest mapped area was approximately one mile northwest of the Site.
A water sample was collected from the operational water well near the ranch house on
the Site. The results are forthcoming.
Based on the results of this study, we believe the Site satisfies the requirements of the
Environmental Health Department for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach
lines and seepage pits.
LOGE 1322 Page 9
