LCC : 3-14-90 <br /> SA-89-45 <br /> Page 1 <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> It is recommended that the Lathrop City Council deny the appeal <br /> of the Planning Division ' s Conditions of Approval No . I . 2 (a) , <br /> 2 (b) , 2 (c) , 2 (d) , 2 (e) , 2 ( f) , and 5 , the Department of Public <br /> Works ' Conditions of Approval No . II . 4 , Environmental Health <br /> Division' s Conditions of Approval No . III . 2 (a) , 2 (b) , and 3 , and <br /> Sharpe Army Depot ' s Condition of Approval No . VII . 2 . <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1 . The establishment, maintenance, and operation of the use does <br /> not conflict with the General Plan . <br /> This finding can be made because the use proposed in Site <br /> Approval Application No . SA-89-45 is consistent with the <br /> General Industrial designation of the General Plan, which <br /> in turn is permitted in the M-2 zone . <br /> 2 . Adequate utilities, access roads, sanitation, drainage, and <br /> other necessary facilities have been provided, and the pro- <br /> posed improvements are properly related to existing and pro- <br /> posed streets and highways . <br /> This finding can be made because all utilities , improve- <br /> ments , and other facilities are existing or will be pro- <br /> vided as reflected in the approved site plan and/or <br /> improvement plan . <br /> 3 . Tix property involved is of adequate size and shape to accom- <br /> modate the proposed use and all yards , building coverage, <br /> setbacks, parking areas, and other requirements of this <br /> Title . <br /> This finding can be made because theproperty is adequate <br /> in size to accommodate provisions of the Planning Code . <br /> 4 . Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental <br /> to the public health, safety, or welfare or be injurious to <br /> the property or improvements of adjacent properties . <br /> ° This findincan be made because the proposed use is com- <br /> patible withg the surrounding area and will not have an <br /> adverse effect on nearby properties . <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> \" <br /> The application was submitted to allow the applicant to establish <br /> a manufacturing site for modular classroom buildings under Site <br />
