03-25-'05 10:10 FROM-DILMN & MURPHY 1-209-334-0723 T-562 P02/02 U-354
VOW VO,
6.4 Description of the Date,Time and Condition of the Test Hole After the 24-Hour Soak Period
(Hole Still Intact,Hole Dry,Depth to Water Remaining in Hole, Etc_). On February 11,2005 the
two shallow test holes still contained water. Six inches of water was added to the hole. There was a
negligible drop in the water level over the next hour and the shallow test was deemed a failure al
called off. (See Appendix for test results),Dillon &Murphy recognizes that this was a deviation
from proper procedure due to the fact that a health department official was not summoned to
observe the percolation test failure. In the future, greater efforts will be made to adhere to prop
test procedures.
On February 25, 2005, the first deep test holes were found to be intact and no water remained in the tw
hole, thus the 4 hour test was performed. (See test results below)
On March 9, 2005 the third deep hole was found to be intact and no water remained in the test hole, tht
the 4 hour test was performed. (See test results below)
