Found in Appendix F, is an article entitled Water Management Practices Can Affect Salinity in <br /> Rice Fields, published by California Agriculture. Although this article primarily discusses salinity <br /> issues with regard to rice production, the first page of the article goes into detail about irrigation <br /> patterns that are applicable for the past irrigation practices on the subject property. In particular, <br /> is the discussion on irrigation water holding periods for up to 30 days after a pesticide application. <br /> As the article references, this holding period is the primary means of reducing pesticide residues. <br /> 6. LIMITATIONS <br /> § 5.4. Chesney Consulting declares that based on the document research, subject property <br /> inspection and the subsurface investigation as described in this report, the findings are true and <br /> accurate to the best of my knowledge, as of November September 16, 2006. This was the date of the <br /> last inspection of the subject property. It is noted that there was no testing for any adverse <br /> environmental constituent. <br /> The purpose of this report was to exclusively inform the Client and the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department of the environmental conditions as they currently exist on and <br /> under the subject property as of the date of this report.
